As a Learning Solutions Designer you will collaborate with subject matter experts and key stakeholders to design and implement high-quality learning solutions. You will leverage your expertise in instructional design, adult learning principles, and eLearning technologies to create engaging and effective learning experiences that support organizational goals. 

Scope:

  • Applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues

  • Works on problems of moderate scope

  • Receives general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new projects

Your Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Instructional Design:

    • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to analyze learning needs and translate them into instructional materials, including eLearning modules, instructor-led training content, virtual instructor-led training, job aids, and assessments.

    • Develop learning objectives, course outlines, storyboards, and scripts that align with organizational goals.

    • Utilize instructional design models and adult learning theories to create engaging, learner-centered content.

    • Develop performance assessments, quizzes, and evaluations to measure learner success and identify areas for improvement.

    • Work closely with Learning Solutions Developers to create interactive, multimedia-rich eLearning courses.

  • Project Management:

    • Manage multiple instructional design projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines are met and deliverables are of high quality.

    • Communicate project status, challenges, and successes to the team and other stakeholders.

  • Quality Assurance & Evaluation:

    • Conduct quality reviews of training materials and eLearning content to ensure accuracy, engagement, and alignment with learning objectives.

    • Implement feedback from stakeholders and learners to refine and improve course content.

    • Analyze training effectiveness using metrics such as learner satisfaction, knowledge retention, and performance improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from four-college or university and 2 to 5 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience 

  • 3+ years of experience in instructional design, preferably in a corporate environment.

  • Strong knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and eLearning best practices.

  • Ability to translate complex information into engaging, learner-friendly content.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
