Crypto Trading Analyst

Role Overview

Mudrex is looking to hire a Crypto Trading Analyst to lead market research, trading insights, and video-led market communication.

This role sits at the intersection of active market analysis, trading strategy, and live market interpretation. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities across crypto spot and futures markets, interpreting market and macro signals, and presenting these insights through live trading sessions and structured video and social content.

The role requires strong analytical depth, comfort with real-time market conditions, and the ability to communicate trading decisions clearly to an engaged trading audience.

Key Responsibilities

Market & Trading Analysis

• Analyze crypto spot and futures markets to identify trends, trade setups, and high-probability opportunities.

• Track and interpret price action, market structure, volume, open interest, funding rates, and derivatives positioning.

• Develop clear trading theses with defined entries, exits, invalidation levels, and risk parameters.

• Continuously assess market sentiment and positioning across exchanges and trader behaviour.

Macro & Market Context

• Monitor global macroeconomic indicators (interest rates, liquidity, equities, USD strength, geopolitical events) and their implications for crypto markets.

• Build and maintain a structured market outlook across multiple timeframes.

• Translate macro and sentiment shifts into actionable trading perspectives for both short-term and swing strategies.

Live Trading & Market Communication

• Conduct live trading sessions, explaining trade rationale, execution logic, and risk management in real time.

• Act as an on-camera market expert during:

  • Live market sessions

  • Event-driven trading coverage

  • Regular market outlook streams

• Communicate market decisions with clarity, precision, and accountability.

• Manage posts on our YouTube and Twitter platform

Video Content & Trading Education

• Host and lead YouTube videos and recurring series focused on:

  • Advanced trading strategies

  • Futures and derivatives trading

  • Market structure and sentiment analysis

  • Post-trade breakdowns and reviews

• Collaborate with internal video and marketing teams to shape content formats aligned with market cycles and trader interest.

Experience & Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience trading crypto markets, with meaningful exposure to futures and derivatives.

• Strong understanding of:

  • Technical analysis and market structure

  • Leverage, risk management, and position sizing

  • Derivatives metrics such as funding rates and open interest

• Ability to articulate trading logic clearly, both in prepared content and live market conditions.

• Comfortable presenting analysis on camera and engaging with a trading-focused audience.

Preferred

• Experience hosting or contributing to live trading sessions, market shows, or trading communities.

• Familiarity with on-chain data and advanced market analytics platforms.

• Prior experience in a trading, research, or market-facing role within a crypto firm or financial platform.
