Our Client is adding a new position of android developer and are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and well-rounded individual for this role. If you are the kind of individual who gets a high from working in fast paced start-up environment, then this is just the right role for you.
Roles & Responsibilities:
A. Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
B. 3-5 years of Experience in designing and developing Android Apps, which also have Multi-media, Bluetooth, GPS, WiFI, SQLite, Material Design, Web Services,
C. Programming experience in Java, Dalvik, ART, javascript, webview, fragments
D. Excellent skills and knowledge in Android Component (Activity, Services, Content Provider, Broadcast Receiver, Fragment)
E. Work with outside data sources and APIs
F. Excellent knowledge in core Java
G. Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
H. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
I. Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- B.Sc./B.Tech degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Skills & Traits:
- Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the entire software development life cycle
- Hands on experience with Android studio & gradle build system
- Proficiency in Android SDK/NDK framework. Strong knowledge of different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
- Experience in building JNI libraries
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Experience with 3rd party frameworks and SDKs
- Solid understanding of user interaction concept differences between Android phone and Tablets
- Knowledge of web services, REST APIs
- Solid understanding of Android user interface guidelines and the latest operating systems, features and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Good design skills using Object oriented design patterns
- Knowledge of the Analytics tools And GCM/FCM.
- Prior experience of publishing Apps in Playstore.
- Experience on Media Stream Applications
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines
- Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers
- Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.
