Job Purpose:
To plan, execute, and optimize logistics operations ensuring timely and accurate delivery of petroleum products with adherence to quality, quantity, safety, and compliance standards. The role involves fleet induction and management, stakeholder coordination, customer service, and team development to support dynamic market demands.



Responsibilities
  1. Logistics Planning & Execution

     

    • Plan and deploy fleet for product supplies to Retail, STO, and IB customers and ensure nil pendency
    • Monitor product movement to ensure timely delivery with quality and quantity compliance.
  2. Daily MIS & Reporting

     

    • Release accurate daily and periodic reports for operational visibility.
  3. Statutory Compliance

     

    • Ensure fleet induction complies with statutory policies and safety/security requirements.
    • Maintain valid documentation for every trip.
  4. Safety Implementation

     

    • Implementation of required security process and practises
    • Conduct pre-trip checks and safety briefings (Tool Box Talks).
    • Coordinate with Safety & Security teams for process adherence.
  5. Inventory Management

     

    • Manage consumables like seals and VTS VMUs in coordination with vendors.
  6. Stakeholder Coordination

     

    • Liaise with internal teams, transporters, and customers for seamless logistics operations.
  7. Customer Service

     

    • Resolve transportation and logistics issues to maintain service excellence.
  8. Safety Culture

     

    • Promote safety awareness among TT crews and third-party personnel.
    • Organize training and safety meetings.
  9. Manpower Development

     

    • Train and develop a high-performing team aligned with departmental KPIs.
    • Drive continuous improvement and value addition.

 

 



Qualifications

Engineering or Science Graduate.

    • Logistics planning and execution.
    • Product knowledge (WO, LPG), SOPs, and quality standards.
    • Market knowledge (freight rates, fleet usage).
    • System proficiency (SAP, TAS).
